Dr. E. Alejandro Carrasco

E. Alejandro Carrasco, D.D.S., M.Sc., M.D.S.

Dr. Carrasco is originally from Venezuela.  After obtaining his dental degree he moved to Canada.  He attended the University of Alberta where he obtained a Master’s degree in TMD and Orofacial Pain.  He also worked as an instructor in the Oral Radiology Department.  He was accepted at the University of Connecticut where he earned a Clinical Certificate in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology and a Masters of Dental Science degree.  During his last year at the program he was awarded the Graduate Assistantship Research Scholarship.  He continued his Post-grad education at the University of Connecticut where he obtained his certificate in Endodontics.  During his residency he was awarded the AAE/Dentsply Sirona Resident Award for his poster presentation at the annual AAE meeting.

Dr. Carrasco is experienced in treating patients with dental and non-odontogenic pain and has extensive experience in advanced dental imaging, which complements his clinical endodontic training.  He is a member of the CT State Dental Association, the CT Association of Endodontists, the Hartford Dental Society, the American Dental Association and the American Association of Endodontists.  Dr. Carrasco lives in Farmington with his wife, two daughters and labradoodle.  He enjoys outdoor activities and spending time with his family and friends.
